statement
Working in both paint and print mediums, I use representation to voice a story.  In addition to taking cues from fellow artists (both past and contemporary), I use film as both a direct and conceptual work source.  My work is commonly autobiographical and inspired by my own life experience, sourcing from photographs taken, images collected, and people, objects, and places that have held lasting impression.
